Unlike many typical acupuncture sessions, my treatments often involve treating a person's  front and back side  and  may last between 60-90 minutes. This focused and dedicated approach allows for a depth and thoroughness that shortens the number of treatments necessary to get well.  In China patients are often treated with shorter sessions several times a week. In America this style isn’t feasible for obvious economic reasons.  Beside needles, other modalities of this medicine are often employed where appropriate. : Cupping, Gua Sha, Moxibustion and Electrostimulation. And, when needed, you will be given a Chinese Herb Formula to supplement your healing, as well as dietary suggestions.

I am often asked what style of acupuncture I practice and the answer is a bit long. I have studied and trained in the following: The Balance Method of Dr. Richard Tan, Dr. Tung's Family Lineage, The Traditional Chinese Medicine ( TCM ) of Modern China, Scalp Acupuncture for Stroke Recovery, Pediatric Shonishin and Junzi Mizutani Moxibustion Technique.

I have a deep dedication to this work and helping you heal. And I expect to see clear improvement within 4-6 treatments ... which is not to say it will take that many to experience relief….I have had many instances of treating new patients one time and that’s that! But if after 4 -6 there is no change I feel that perhaps my style may not be right for your condition and will try to suggest another practitioner or modality.
